Preventive Maintenance = savings!
- Preventive maintenance agreements (PMAs) are
agreements between you and RJH for scheduled
inspections and maintenance of your heating,
ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration,
commercial kitchen & ice making equipment and
systems. This regularly scheduled maintenance is
designed to keep your equipment running smoothly so
it will last longer and you can trust it.
Preventive Maintenance Schedule
- (PMAs) are generally scheduled every three months
to maintain peak efficiency, prevent utility
overpayment, and avert system failures through
predictive maintenance that helps extend the life of
your HVACR, kitchen equipment and systems.” PMAs
consist of four scheduled sessions for a JOURNEYMAN
(a certified and experienced technician). The RJH
service technician goes through your entire HVACR
systems preparing it for the upcoming season. This
proactive approach avoids system failure and
overpaying your utility company.
Energy Consumption
- The HVAC system is most likely the single biggest
use of energy in your facility. In commercial
applications, where refrigeration is applied
(combined with the HVACR systems), huge amounts of
energy are used in the building. In fact, over one
third of the energy used in the United States is
used to heat and cool buildings. According to the
Consortium of Energy Efficiency (CEE) up to 50% more
energy could be saved with proper installation,
sizing, and maintenance of commercial air
conditioning, heat pumps, and refrigeration systems.
Out of Sight, Out of Mind
- The old but true cliché “out of sight, out of
mind” is often the reason for neglecting maintenance
guidelines for your HVACR system. HVACR systems are
usually installed where they aren’t seen, such as in
the basement, a closet, on rooftops, or in
mechanical rooms, making them easy to ignore. The
systems are simply taken for granted, until they
fail. Decreased efficiency, utility overpayment,
discomfort, loss of productivity, eventual premature
replacement, and higher repair costs are the result.
Just because your HVAC system is out of sight, does
not mean it can be neglected. Getting your HVACR
systems maintenance four times annually is just as
important as changing the oil in your car every
3,000 miles!
What’s your bottom line?
- Savings: PMAs typically more than pay for
themselves through higher efficiency, less utility
overpayment, and RJH PMA labor discounts and RJH PMA
customers receive a LABOR discount on all services
performed during the entire year.
Peace of Mind: Predictive maintenance will mean
fewer system failures and a longer life for your
HVACR equipment.
Priority Service: Should a system failure occur
during the heat of the summer or the cold of the
winter, customer’s with RJH PMAs receive priority
service.
Continuity: RJH assigns 2 to 4 LEAD technicians to
the RJH PMA customer. That way, you get to see and
know the same service technicians, and the RJH
service mechanics becomes more familiar with you and
your equipment.
Experience: All RJH preventive maintenance Service
technicians are journeyman level with a minimum of 8
years in the trade. At RJH you get what you pay for.
Free Estimates
- Call or email to schedule and appointment and

service engineer will meet with you to discuss your
specific needs and goals, and preform a survey of
your equipment. This survey takes into account the
age, condition, and maintenance needs of your
facility, and determines the frequency of
preventative maintenance service visits that you
will need. A second visit will be schedule to
present you with your custom preventative
maintenance program. Typically, the initial and
